How to order reagents

Please submit a completed requisition form and send to cjdresourcecentre@mhra.gov.uk. Upon receipt of your request, we will send an e-mail acknowledgement, followed by a further notification when samples are ready for dispatch.

We endeavour to meet all requests for reagents however these resources are finite and will be provided at the discretion of the CJD Research and Resource Centre.

Please note that these reagents have not been screened for viral markers such as HIV, HBV and HCV. It is the recipients own responsibility to ensure safe handling upon receipt. 

Shipping charges

Shipments that do not require refrigeration and are non-infectious are delivered at no additional cost. 

UK shipments on dry ice (infectious or non-infectious) are charged at £35-70.

EU shipments on dry ice (infectious or non-infectious) are charged at £160-250.

International shipments on dry ice (infectious or non-infectious) are charged at £200-400. A small number of destinations (e.g. Australia) may incur an additional charge or may require delivery via a broker.
