Changes to the NIBSC standards ordering process 

We are always looking at ways of improving the service we provide to our customers. To achieve this, from 6 May 2019 all orders for NIBSC standards will need to be placed through our website.  

The benefits to you, the customer, include:

• automatic email confirmation issued (you may need to add our email address to your allowed list)
• order processed on the working day of receipt
• quicker dispatch turnaround (subject to all required information being provided)
• product pricing can be confirmed prior to order completion

Our email address (standards@nibsc.org) should only be used for queries and requests for an official quotation. Any orders received via this email will be returned and will need to be resubmitted through our website.

Centre for AIDS reagents (CFAR) customers will not be affected by this change and can continue to order reagents via the existing CFAR ordering process.

Information on pricing can be found our Prices page. This list is current and is updated once any price changes are made. Our current transport costs can be found on our Costs page.

Any request for a pro forma invoice will only be processed if the status of your account requires payment to be made in advance of shipment, or if one is required as part of any import permit application. Currently permits are not required for delivery within the EU and a pro forma invoice will not be issued for this purpose.
