Shipping instructions for independent batch release testing
Shipping of samples to the NIBSC for independent batch release testing
Please follow these instructions to help avoid any delays or failures in shipping.
1. Shipping address for NIBSC testing is:

For the attention of <insert NIBSC contact or test team>
2. All shipments require a commercial invoice showing:
(a) description of goods
(b) value for customs
(c) commodity codes
(d) Incoterms.
3. Invoices must state that the goods are supplied free of charge for regulatory testing.
4. It will need to be clear who will carry out customs clearance, and who is acting as the importer of record in the UK.
(a) If sending organisation is importer of record:
Customs entry in UK will be made in name of the sender. You will need to have a UK customs registration (EORI) and a broker/courier who has power-of-attorney to make declaration on your behalf.
(b) If the NIBSC is importer of record:
Shipment will need to be handed over to our nominated broker, as shown below. Waybills and/or invoice must also show following texts:
“notify party: Dangerous Goods International, 0208-814-0404, clearance@dgiglobal.com"
“MHRA EORI # GB888849726000”
5. Our nominated broker is:
