Reagents are shipped globally with the primary objective being to assist and support the HIV/AIDS research community through the provision of high quality, basic and specialised biological research materials.

CFAR is ISO9001 certified for the receipt, storage and distribution reagents. The benefits this ensure customers are:

  • All orders will be dispatched within 10 working days of receipt
  • Customers will be contacted at least 1 day prior to dispatch
  • Enquiries will be dealt with within 5 working days from receipt
  • 24Hr monitored cold storage of reagents to ensure reagent integrity

To date over 95,000 reagents have been dispatched to more than 2000 investigators in over 50 countries.

CFAR can assist in multi-centre collaborative studies by providing key reagents from a central batch, to ensure participants use the same materials, allowing greater comparability of results.

Materials that are not readily available can often be sourced or custom made. We also welcome donation of new materials. Please contact us at cfar@nibsc.org
