Dr Ross Hawkins
Dr Ross Hawkins joined NIBSC in 2003 as a principal scientist and has over 15-years’ experience in biomedical diagnostics. He has worked in patient diagnostics, development of research and diagnostic assays and the production of reference materials for diagnostic use. He was previously employed in the biotechnology industry, hospital-based academia/diagnostics, academia and the Imperial Cancer Research Fund.
Ross has over 50 publications including books, book chapters, reviews and papers. He has a BSc in Genetics from Newcastle University and a PhD in Genetics from Leicester University.
